The first Acsi Gravel Marathon National Championship will be at the Vallespluga Gravel Marathon

As part of the Gravel Marathon Valle Spluga, a registration-only event open to all and scheduled for Sunday 17 September in Chiavenna, the ACSI Gravel Marathon National Championship will take place for the first time ever.

On that occasion, in a single race, the 14 ACSI Gravel Marathon National Champion jerseys of the different categories will be awarded.

The ACSI Gravel Marathon National Championship will be awarded based on the sum of the times recorded in two time-trial sections that are part of the 99-km Gravel Marathon Valle Spluga Medium Route (named “Montespluga”). Four different routes suitable for everyone (from “family” to “extreme”) are included in the event. For all information on the Gravel Marathon: https://gravelspluga.it/.

And the first ACSI Gravel Marathon National Championships also represents the entry into the world of amateur cycling for ExtraGiro. The group directed by Marco Pavarini and Marco Selleri, organiser of the 2020 Cycling World Championships in Imola and the first Italian Gravel Championships in the history of Federciclismo, marks another “first time” in its now prestigious organisational palmares.
